Childhood cancer takes many things away
from children, college should not be one of them.
We are proud to offer two Northwestern Mutual scholarships: one for childhood cancer survivors and one for siblings of those affected by childhood cancer. These students deserve every opportunity to pursue higher education and continue to achieve their dreams
Funding a Brighter Future
We realize the financial and emotional toll childhood cancer has on the whole family and we are honored to help these scholars, both survivors and siblings, pursue their dreams. We are now accepting applications for the 2025–2026 academic year.

Northwestern Mutual’s scholarship program – which is currently the only cancer-related scholarship program that honors the challenges that siblings of patients endure – provided the Gregg family recognition for the often overlooked toll the disease can have on the whole family. “It was just such a validating experience even to know that they offered a sibling scholarship,” Maria notes. She is pictured here with her twin brothers Adam (FLC survivor) and Conrad who are also scholarship recipients.

“This scholarship means that I can worry less about how I will financially make it through college and more about what I am actually learning.”
